    Description

    Dealer Old Stock - Bulk Purchased in the late 1970's or mid-1980's during the BOOM
    Question was asked if possibly leather was dry and would crumble after 20 hits.
    On 02/08/16, I took a 22 oz hammer and hit the tip 1000 times.
    On 02/08/16 I uploaded pics at 0, 100, 500 and 1000 hits.
    It can take a pounding, but don't know if/how it translates to playability.
    NOTE:
    Tip was on a SOLID WOOD BLOCK that did move to absorb more force
    than a tip hitting a cue ball that moves.
