This is a reproduced color print of the Alexandria, Virginia railroad station. The
Alexandria Union Station
,
built in 1905 in the Northern Virginian suburbs
provides an intact representation of regional railroad planning and mid-Atlantic terminal design in the early 20th century. It
served passenger trains of the C&O, Southern Railways and the Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac Railroad. It was refurbished in 1997 and n
ow serves Amtrak and VRE commuter lines along with a nearby Washington Metro station.
It is printed on matte cardstock photo paper which is acid-free and with Canon inks that are guaranteed for 100 years without fading.
The prints comes in a 11" x 14" wooden frame that is matted and has a solid scratch-free plastic cover that minimizes the risk of damage. Please note that the watermark is visible only on website photos and it is not placed on our final portraits.
