Cadillac 6 Volt Generator. Delco Remy. Purchased as a spare for my 1941 Cadillac and never used (the Cadillac has since been sold).
I have had this listed for a long time at a very reasonable price with no interest. This was a puzzle to me because I know that the part works, that it is a hard to find part and that it is reasonably priced. So I brought it to Day’s Engine Repair in Kinderhook NY last week and had it tested. Mr. Day said, and I quote, “Works Great! They don’t make them like this any more. They put good stuff into them back then.“
No grease, grime or other dirt. Happy to answer questions or provide more photos.
