    Here is a very cute,
    1940s era
    , furry fabric covered, wind-up,
    "Little Black Dog",
    as illustrated in the 1939, storybook of the same name,
    (The Story of Buster) June Scheckler Mary Alice Stoddard 1939.
    He measures about 4 1/4" long, not including his wire tail and about 3 1/2" tall not including his big ears. He still has his red collar and bell around his neck as well as cute brown glass eyes and a wind-up mechanism that works sporadically, but
    no key.
    His tail spins and his head moves but needs some adjustment. There is wear and some loss to his fur on his muzzle and one paw that needs more fabric applied. He'll make a nice addition to a vintage dollhouse and or make a great companion for some of your antique or vintage dolls. Probably manufactured in Japan as the remains of a sticker are attached to his tummy. He has no other damages or repairs, no breaks and no odors as he is from a smoke free home. Sold as described with no returns. Other dogs and dolls are not included and each
    listed separately.
