Description
Hi All;This is a comprehensive Performance Upgrade Kit for the Venerable Dillon XL 750.
It addresses all the details that can bring out the true potential of your press.
These items will help you increase production, eliminate powder spills and give very smooth
and transparent
" Feel"
to your Press.
I produce all these parts myself, and I use the best materials.
This kit has everything I make for the XL 750
There is no bling here. These are the mechanical upgrades this press can really use.
I refuse to steer you wrong.
What you get:
The roller Cam Follower.
This replaces the pointed steel follower with a nice bearing, mounted in a Chrome-Moly shaft.
It reduces the friction of the case-drop cam, which is one of the biggest offenders from a vibration and friction standpoint, and eliminates the need for grease.
This really smooths up the feel.
Second:
You get my Oil-Lite thrust Bearing for under the shell-plate bolt.
It fits perfectly within the case pay-off spring, and once installed, it would be difficult to notice it is there. It smooths up rotation a bit, and it seems that I can hold that shell plate just a bit closer and have smooth indexing with just a bit less jiggle.
You won't have to bend your payoff spring to get them in there, and you can't foul them with a flake of powder.
Third:
You get my Case-Feed Stop Switch.
It will only be moments into reloading before you figure out why you want one.
Especially during setup, but also when there is a hiccup you are working out...
They give you the freedom to stop or start case feed at will...
Made of Wrought Anodized Aluminum with a Delrin Cam.
Just push the cam back to it's resting position, cases stop. Snap it back... off you go.
Fourth:
You get my ball and spring detent kit. It replaces the set under your Shell-Plate.
This is the single, most important and also the cheapest upgrade you could possibly make.
The stock springs are a bit too strong, all you want to have them to do is lift the detent ball into position to keep the Shell Plate indexed. The impact of the ball hitting the Shell-Plate can cause powder spills.
I have the perfect custom wound Music Wire spring... and a replacement Low-Mass Detent Ball, which is a precision ground industrial grade phenolic bearing ball, 1/5th the weight of the steel one.
This combination eliminates the snap.
Fifth:
Yes, lastly, you get my improved version of the Quick Connect Powder Measure Tab.
These ship with Blue or Red, as available.
These are a convenience, and you can easily move your powder measure about, but the other thing is it makes it nice to just remove the measure pour the powder back into the cannister.
Also made of Wrought Anodized Aluminum, and come with the necessary hardware.
These tabs are produced in Blue. Red will be available on request.
I offer Free Shipping, Free Return Postage in 60 days.. ( Aside of the over-seas guys )
Same NO BS warranty that Dillon has...
Happiness Guaranteed. Or your Money Back.
And... my apologies:
I can't keep up with e-mails.
Thanks for your interest!
