I recently acquired a number of parts that came with a 1969 Z28 that was purchased out of an estate. The car had been stored since the late 70s/early 80's and had a bunch of NOS parts stored with it that were meant for the build. The guy who bought the Camaro out of the estate was putting a LS engine in the car and was not concerned with originality. I bought the engine, transmission, and other parts from him and plan to list them here on Ebay. This is a awesome original GM starter motor. This came with the 1969 Z/28 engine parts mentioned above. The part number is 1108361 as shown. The date code is 8L16 which decodes as December 16th, 1968. I believe this starter has been rebuilt but I can't say for sure. I did test it and it functions as it should. This is a very nice original starter. Please confirm your specific application.
