    This item is a print depicting the interior of new Haven Railroad Signal Station #44 (now the SoNo Switch Tower Museum) in Norwalk, CT.  The print was created by noted illustrator Chris Iorillo, who specializes in computer renderings.  The artist has captured the mood and feel of working in a railroad interlocking tower during the middle of the night, on 3

    Entire proceeds from this auction benefit the SoNo Switch Tower Museum in South Norwalk, CT.  This historic railroad interlocking tower was built in 1896 and was called SS #44 under New Haven Railroad and later BERK under Penn Central.  The tower, containing 68 "Armstrong" levers, was saved from demolition by the WestConn Chapter - NRHS and is open to the public from May - Oct.  For details, see the tower's website at sonotower.org.
