A handsome pair of Alco PA1s rushes across the Rockville
Bridge with a bevy of tuscan red coaches. Pennsy rostered
ten PA1s (#5750A-5759A) and five PB1s (5750B-5758B –
even numbers only). They wore a few different paint schemes
over their active years: tuscan with five-stripe “cat whiskers,”
then with single wide stripe; same two variations with Bruns-
wick green (near black). Andy’s favorite, the very first paint
scheme, shows up in his art.
