This is an improved Primer Catcher for the RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme(TM) press. The stock primer catcher is widely known to be poor, it's fragile, it misses primers, the trays fill quickly and overflow, the fit is loose and it's not secure on the press. This one fixes all those problems!
There are many variations on this theme available on eBay and in the public domain (if you have a 3D printer), this is demonstrably better.
It's better because:
The material is a dense polyurethane that is flexible and tough (like skateboard wheels or the bushings on your truck). You can literally pop this with a ball-peen hammer and the hammer will bounce off. Try that with one of the rigid PLA or ABS versions being sold.
It snaps into place with no tools or adjustment needed, locks on solidly with no play and does not interfere with the ram travel.
It captures the spent primers efficiently and shunts them off into a drop tube that you can send to a trash can, a container on your bench, or wherever you want them to go.
I'm now including a small, flexible plug for the front slot (for those who have primers that fall out the front).
It's reasonably priced and should last a lifetime.
"Seconds"
: From time to time, I make a part that ends up being slightly (very slightly) "off", and rather than toss them, I'm offering these at a 15% discount. The blemish may be a small bubble in the layering, or a darker streak of color in the green, completely cosmetic in nature. Functionally, they are 100% and work exactly as do the regular parts. These are sold under the "Seconds" entry on the color selection when available.
