    Description

Note:  The item you receive may differ slightly from the one pictured.
Note:  The disc is a business card CD-R.  It can be read in a drive with a spindle.  It can also be read in a drive without one but with a tray with an inner indentation for 8 cm discs (assuming it can be oriented horizontally).  It may not work with slide-in drives.
    Note:
    The discs may appear damaged/dirty.
But I tested them in a separate drive and they all worked fine.
The item for sale is a business card CD-R containing data in Portable Document Format (PDF) (meaning it can be viewed even with Microsoft Edge).
It explains why counterfeit detector pens that test the paper of a note are liable to fail—giving both false positives and false negatives—and thus a waste of money.
Learn from me and do a better job of authenticating notes to avoid accepting counterfeit ones (which causes a loss) and rejecting authentic ones (which causes poor customer service).
Find out what the manufacturers and retailers of those pens do not want you to know: they are a scam!
You probably want to know on what authority I make such a bold claim.
I am a casino cage cashier in Las Vegas, Nevada.
I have over a decade of experience and have worked for nine casinos and nine casino companies.
I have never used those pens in my career.
But if that is not enough (or you do not believe me), I can do even better.
The data shows that the United States Government supports my claim.
There is also guidance provided about how to do a better authentication (mostly, but not entirely with fives through one hundreds and mostly, but not entirely, with the current style).
(Yes, doing it right requires education, not just the ability to mark with a pen and differentiate shades.)
So take a look at this before you waste any money on those pens.
Remember also that the United States (and most of the world) is in a recession and that is when people tend to turn to counterfeiting.
    I
f you are a cashier that is equipped with such a pen, you should also take a look at this and learn what your superiors have failed to teach you.
Do you lack a drive that can read CD-R’s or ones of this size?
    I suggest getting one.
You can probably get one and this item (even including sales tax) for under 0—the cost of accepting a counterfeit one hundred!
