    Description

    Union Pacific Challenger Train #3985 4-6-6-4 PR Spec Sheet & 2 B&W photographs.  This unique 3 piece set provides a detailed look at a favorite UP steam locomotive.  The PR sheet was likely issued by the UP as an item to be provided to the public, shippers and employees.  The 2 B&W photographs of the 3985 and were included with the spec sheet.  While it is not specifically known, the 2 photographs are most likely from the period after the locomotive was refurbished by the UP.  One photograph shows #3985 on a short freight train in what is probably Cheyenne, WY, and the other photograph shows the fireman and backhead inside the cab.  Photographer is unknown.  Both photographs are high-quality B&W prints and have a reference notation in pencil on the back.  The spec sheet has an unrepaired small tear on the left side, otherwise all 3 items are in good shape.  Please refer to photographs for additional details.
