The Florida East Coast Railway is still operating and runs from Jacksonville to Miami all within the State of Florida. It once ran to Key West and after a hurricane destroyed its bridges in 1935 and the state purchased them to convert into the now-famous roadway. The “Flagler System” in its former logo comes from its famous oil tycoon, Henry Morrison Flagler, that build it to connect his tourism holdings. Some of FECs locomotives and diesels are preserved at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum in Miami.
    Text reads:
Knights Key Bridge F.E.C Railway, Over - Sea Extension, Between the mainland of Florida and Key West.
